DELIVERY & RETURNS

To make sure of the same day delivery orders must be placed by 10am, delivery days Monday – Saturday (not Sunday).

No One Home Policy

lf there is no one home and we have access to a place we consider appropriate, we will leave the delivery in a shaded position in an area of reasonable visibility. If we do not consider it safe to leave at the home, we will attempt to leave with a neighbour. Although this rarely happens, if we cannot find a place we consider appropriate, we will return the delivery to our premises and contact the sender.

It is your obligation to enter the correct delivery address details at time of ordering. If you enter the wrong address, we are not obliged to re-send the order to the correct address at our expense.
You will provide us with a date for delivery of all flowers/parcels and while we make every effort to deliver by this time unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee time of delivery.

If the delivery address is a hospital and the recipient is discharged before delivery is made the recipient can then arrange a suitable day for re-delivery which will incur an extra charge to the purchaser.
We are not responsible for orders not collected by the recipient on the delivery day from either the Mail Room or Reception areas of the business.

It is the responsibility of the customer to inform DAISY CHAIN FLORIST if an order does not arrive. Once we learn an order has not arrived by the due date, we will lodge enquiries with the courier to ensure delivery occurs as soon as possible. We will not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from late delivery.

Please note that if an item has been lost in transit, we will not dispatch a replacement item immediately. Replacement items will be dispatched according to our discretion. Without limiting the operation of any other Terms and Conditions herein, you agree that late delivery does not constitute a failure of our agreement, and does not entitle you to cancellation of an order.

Without limiting the operation of any other Terms and Conditions herein, we will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from items lost, stolen or damaged after delivery has taken place.

 

GIFTS WHICH INCLUDE ALCOHOL AND LIQUOR


Daisy Chain sells food hampers and flower arrangements that both may be delivered with alcohol as gifts. This alcohol cannot be sold separately, but rather, may form part of a genuine gift only. The maximum volume of alcohol cannot exceed 2 Litres. In accordance with the Liquor Control Act 1998, we do not sell or supply alcohol to, or on behalf of a person under the age of 18 years. Gifts which include alcohol cannot be delivered to the orderer/purchaser, nor can it be delivered to, or accepted by a minor, nor can the gift be left at the premises without being accepted by a adult.
